Ester “Star” at Abigail House and Dorinda “Bountiful Gift” are names assigned to the Bunkies.

Bunkies have an inside space of 9 ft by 12 ft and have additional space available at Abigail House of 2500 sq ft that includes an office, two kitchens and two bathrooms, an outside patio, picnic tables and barbecue as well as a covered 10ft by 10 ft outdoor gazebo.

The Bunkies include solar lighting, electricity, and easy access to indoor washrooms, a living room and kitchens and dining rooms. They are set up with one single airbed and electric blanket and may be arranged for two single beds, a dining table, work table and a solar powered computer access. The minimum Stay is 3 nights and maximum stay is one to eight months. The bunkies are insulated and may be rented from April to November. Bunkies are $65.00 a night per person.

Beatrice “Blessed” Room is located in the upper level of Abigail House, and is equipped with two queen size beds, a fridge and microwave, as well as a desk, internet and tv. It is 700 sq ft with four windows that catch the sunset and have a garden view. The room is for one to four people providing a vacation stay, work environment, hot desk and dedicated office for work or play. Located on site is a health and wellness centre, library and crafts rooms, as well as an outdoor pool, sauna and exercise equipment.

Anne’s Room- “God has favoured me” is a perfect 800 sq ft room to take a break and unwind in with four large windows and two queen size air beds. Anne’ Room offers a spacious bedroom, writing, and dining area. The room is for one to four people.

Ceilia "Blessed Land"

Abigail House is located in the hamlet of Springmount and is two acres of property called CCSVillage Lifestyle Community. There is a Host Home and Abigail House as well as two homes and three lots available to build a home on leased land. The neighbourhood is a a work and play lifestyle living for intergenerational living. Celia “Blessed Land” is a light filled room overlooking the pool and gardens with five windows to catch the rising sun. It is a vacation, work environment with high-speed internet access, hot desk office space, meeting rooms and access to health and wellness, library and craft locations at CCSVillage.

Our rooms provide a vacation stay, work environment, hot desk and dedicated office for work or play. Located on site is a health and wellness centre, library and crafts rooms.

We encourage an Intergenerational lifestyle with the design of our community to be located within a Hamlet (a small settlement where there is thriving commerce and housing) located in the Township of Georgian Bluffs in the County of Grey.

We have furnished homes and rooms for an Intergenerational and Intentional Community active diversified community within a flexible/co-housing model in CCS Village, a Community of shared resources. Our homes are in a community where you can feel comfortable and independent, and which allow you freedom to pursue other interests or remain connected to family and friends.

Housing Development:

• The design is for 5 homes with one bedroom, one bathroom, or two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a three bedroom home with two bathrooms for each pod. The first phase is to complete a working model of the five affordable and smaller homes.

• Within the 5 pods of 5 independent homes is a Host Home.

• The low monthly fee provides you with a 40' by 100' home site that includes snow removal, grass cutting, green space, water and sewer. 

• We provide a well managed community to maintain the value of your purchased home.

• We have standards of behviour and we are a neighbourhood of family and friends.

There are responsibilities of membership in our community including attending meetings and participating in projects. We wish to have a diverse community because we believe that life is richer if many different viewpoints and experiences are available and Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

Extensive common facilities include a library, health and wellness room, fully equipped office centre, gazebos, community gardens and other open spaces. Each home owner may purchase a storage shed, workshop, or hobby shed.

All residents - Management: All members share the responsibility for the management and care of the community – building, maintaining and enriching it via participation and in doing the work.
